Pharrell Williams and Adidas’ Beach-themed Jellyfish Releases This Week

A beachy colorway of the Adidas Jellyfish debuted by Pharrell Williams last year at the FN Achievement Awards is finally gearing up for release before the summer ends.

The Pharrell x Adidas Jellyfish Tan features a mix of shades of its namesake color along with light blue that invokes the sand and water. Almost the entirety of the sneaker is rendered in a tonal mix of tans and creams, from the mesh base to the TPU overlays and midsole. Black provides stark contrast through the Three Stripes motif and outsole, while baby blue is used even more sparingly for the midsole’s torsion bar and the tongue branding.

Williams and Adidas first trotted out the Jellyfish almost exactly a year ago, and just last month an all-white colorway brought the widest availability to date for Footwear News’ 2025 Sneaker of the Year.

Based on the Adistar Cushion 3 running shoe from 2005, the Jellyfish blows up the proportions with a massive sole unit and protruding TPU overlays, some of which glow in the dark, informed by the sweeping movements of a jellyfish.

“‘Go bigger’ was a mindset,” Williams told FN last year. “If we’re going to do it, let’s really do it. So we stretched materials, stretched forms. We let the sole become sculpture, let the upper become architecture, let the idea of ‘running’ expand into ‘moving through life.’ Bigger just meant elevating everything.”

For those put out by the Jellyfish’s $300 price tag, Adidas also launched a similar sneaker inline called the Adistar XLG 2.0 for the price.

The Pharrell x Adidas Jellyfish Tan is available through a raffle on blackyachtrock.com and will release Saturday through the Confirmed app and select third-party retailers.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
